Duke Field takes the last name of 1st Lt Robert L. Duke. Located in Crestview, FL, which offers some of the most affordable housing in Okaloosa County. Duke Field is a military airport, and is sometimes called Eglin AFB Auxiliary Field #3, as well. It is located 16 miles north of Eglin Air Force Base, about a 20 minute drive. It is mostly used for Air Force Reserve Command and is home to the 919th Special Operations Wing and a part of the Air Force Special Operations Command at Hurlburt Field.
