Here at the Military Home Team, we are a team of military veteran and spouse real estate agents serving our military community across the Florida Panhandle! We continuously strive to provide as much value and support as possible and put our fellow military families first.

Our History
Charlie Cameron – an Air Force veteran – founded the Military Home Team in late 2022, after seeing the need for a uniquely tailored real estate experience FOR military BY military along the Florida Panhandle’s Emerald Coast. This need became apparent after already serving many military PCS buyers and sellers and understanding their concerns, and by engaging with our very own Panhandle PCS Facebook community of military members and spouses.
The team – which is made up ONLY of military veterans and military spouses – quickly grew to out of the necessity to serve our military clients where we serve them!
We currently serve the Florida Panhandle from Pensacola to Panama City, and everything in-between, to include these bases and units:
- Eglin Air Force Base (to which Charlie completed his active duty service at)
- Hurlburt Field
- Tyndall Air Force Base
- Naval Air Station Pensacola
- Naval Air Station Whiting Field
- Duke Field and the 7th Special Forces Group
- Explosive Ordinance (EOD) School
We LOVE serving our military community because we ARE part of that community. We know the PCS struggles, we know the military family life, and we know real estate. We love the satisfaction of helping military families like ourselves succeed in finding the perfect home and selling their home – and usually – to another military family!
Since Charlie started in real estate sales in 2019, we’ve NEVER failed to get a military member/family into a home if they wanted to buy, and we’ve never failed to sell their home for their PCS. We take great pride in our work and in who we serve.
We also bring another unique benefit to our clients: an investor perspective. Charlie Cameron, our fearless leader, is a seasoned real estate investor: single family rentals, short term rentals, multifamily, assisted living, & more! Our team thinks differently about real estate. This presents a number of advantages, including having a keen eye for showings as well as helping military members find homes that can be great rentals after their PCS to help build long term wealth!
Meet the Team
Charlie Cameron – Team Leader
Charlie Cameron is an Air Force Veteran turned military-focused real estate agent team leader, Air Force reservist at Eglin Air Force Base, and military spouse. He’s a dad, husband to his Eglin active duty wife, and father of two. Besides his family, he has two passions: people and real estate!
While stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, he became interested in real estate and started investing heavily in multifamily and short term rentals. After PCSing to Eglin Air Force Base and while serving on active duty as a Program Manager for the Armament Directorate, he became a licensed REALTOR with eXp Realty and started serving military clients.
Before long he found he had a MAJOR passion for helping military families like his own succeed in real estate! Charlie left active duty after 11 years to lead the Military Home Team and fill a critical gap along the Florida Panhandle: a military real estate team that puts military first, ALWAYS. He looks forward every day to helping as many military members and families succeed as possible!
Barbie Snead – Hurlburt & Pensacola Lead
Barbie Sneed is a native of the Emerald Coast. After graduating high school, she attended UWF and completed a Bachelor’s of Psychology. Shortly after graduating from UWF, her husband received military orders to Germany and they relocated.
While overseas she volunteered as a Key Spouse and at the Military & Family Readiness Center. She had the opportunity to work on base with military families, inspiring her passion for helping the community.
Fast forward a few years, she was back home in Navarre, working in the back scenes of real estate and helping provide resources for military families. She became a licensed Realtor with eXp Realty and joined the Military Home Team to help other military families navigate the home-buying process. Her past experiences and passion have allowed her to serve the Emerald Coast in the home buying/selling process.
Lucas Boyer – Tyndall/Destin/PCB Lead
Lucas is a 21 year US Air Force veteran (Maintainer and Medic). He knows the ins and outs of the PCS process, the VA loan, and wants to continue to serve and help military families as his post-military retirement career!
Lucas is married with two kids, a son and a daughter. He lives in Crestview but is always willing to go the extra mile for his clients!
Latrell (Trelly) Tramell – Crestview/Duke Lead
Latrell – a former Military Home Team client – is a real estate agent in the beautiful Emerald coast with a passion for all things real estate! She is a military wife and a proud mother of two amazing daughters.
She considers herself a foodie who loves discovering new restaurants and traveling to extraordinary places, delving into the culture and the cuisine of different parts of the world. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and she appreciates the essence of community, family, and neighborhood, which is why she enjoys helping others. She has a wide Range of hobbies that keep her engaged and active. From cooking, hiking, shopping and spending quality time with her family.
One of her favorite things about being stationed at Eglin is having the beach so close. She believes there is nothing better than spending the day near the water, soaking in the scenery and making memories with loved ones.
Her passion for real estate is the driving force in her professional life. She enjoys the challenge of finding the perfect home for my clients and negotiating the best possible deal. She firmly believe that everyone deserves a place to call home and takes immense pride in helping her clients make their homeownership dreams a reality.
Angie Pumerantz – Niceville/Eglin Lead
Angie Pumerantz is an Air Force veteran and military spouse with program management experience. She applies her military and PM experience to real estate for military families which is a perfect pairing. Within her first week at the Military Home Team she put a family coming from overseas under contract!
Interestingly, before they met and unknowingly, Charlie and Angie both offered on the SAME home in Bluewater! Angie is a mom of two!

Albert Sousa – Mortgage Apex Owner and Principal Broker
Albert Sousa is the principal broker (NMLS# 1676384) and owner at Mortgage Apex (NMLS# 2026740). He started his mortgage career in 2017 at a top-rated national lender with a big appetite for learning and excellence. He then had the opportunity to train loan officers across the country, teaching best-practices to improve their borrower experience and efficiency.
But he’s always believed in the American Dream and had a yearning to build a business of his own. So he decided to take the valuable lessons and experiences he learned and launch Mortgage Apex in 2020.

Erin Buck – Military Spouse and Mortgage Apex Loan Partner
Erin Buck is a Loan Partner here at Mortgage Apex. As a native to the beautiful Emerald Coast, she is a proud military spouse and mother of 2 amazing children. She started her career in the Mortgage industry in 2019 and has worn many hats since then.
She first began my career as a production assistant, then became a processor. Now she is excited to be a licensed Loan Officer! She takes pride in building relationships with everyone she works with and making the experience one to remember. Whether it’s getting a family into their dream home or refinancing a mortgage to put extra money into someone’s pocket, she is truly passionate about this ever-changing industry and can’t wait to see where it takes her!
