Also, Tyndall AFB Homes is pet-friendly. They allow a maximum of two pets (with breed restrictions).

Currently, Tyndall AFB Homes are undergoing substantial renovations due to Hurricane Michael. The goal is a complete community restoration! Tyndall AFB is going to be the “installation of the future” and many active duty military members will be able to call this base their home. Felix Lake

It will offer two, three and four-bedroom floor plans with stunning amenities such as a screened-in porch, garage and fully-equipped kitchen. This community will have access to playgrounds and basketball courts, a community center with a refreshing community pool, too!
Island View

Eligibility: O4-O9
This neighborhood will have three and four-bedroom floor plans. You will find homes featuring a fully-equipped kitchen, owner’s suite, garage, covered patio and fenced-in back yard. Island View has its own playgrounds and convenient access to Saint Andrew Bay. Just as the name suggests, this community has view of Shell Island.
Redfish Point

This neighborhood will have two, three and four-bedroom floor plans. You will find a fully-equipped kitchen, lots of closets and storage space, garage, fenced-in back yard and porch. Redfish Point community will enjoy playgrounds and basketball courts. It is located next to Felix Lake which conveniently features walking trails, gazebos, and so much more!
Redfish Point Extension

Eligibility: E1-E9; O1-O3
This community offers three and four-bedroom floor plans. This neighborhood has homes with a garage, fully-equipped kitchen, owners suite and a covered patio. Redfish Point Extension is within walking distance of many playgrounds and basketball courts.
Sabre Palms

Eligibility: E1-E6
This neighborhood has a variety of three and four-bedroom floor plans. These homes have a fenced-in back yard, garage, and fully-equipped kitchen. This community is close to playgrounds and has a basketball court. It is also close to the dog park and Youth Center.
Basic Allowance
Just like living in a local community, you will sign a tenant lease agreement, typically for a one-year term. You will pay your monthly rent by authorizing an allotment of your BAH that is paid directly to the Property Manager. Tyndall AFB Barracks
If you are an unaccompanied Airman with less than 3 years of service and the ranks of E1-4 you can qualify for Unaccompanied Housing (UH). It is a great way to meet others and be a part of a dynamic community at Tyndall AFB. Room assignments are determined by the Central Dorm Management Office. It is located in Dorm 1052, 1st floor. You can also call (850) 283-3112/3228. The UH housing is located at 210 Minnesota Ave, Bldg 1680. In UH housing, you have the option of a few different housing configurations, like rooms connected in a quad, two connected rooms, and even private suites. All rooms are single occupancy with a private sleeping room, furnishings, bed linens and supplies to live comfortably. The UH is conveniently within walking distance to many of the base facilities and the beach is just a mile down the road!
